Pre-Combine 5-Round Titans Mock Draft!

TITANS.COM

The NFL Combine is set to kick off on Thursday, as the top prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft will meet in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium, looking to raise their draft stock and compete.

With the combine on the horizon, let’s run through another 5-Round Titans Mock Draft!

Round 1, Pick 1: Cam Ward, QB Miami

The debate on whether the Titans should select a quarterback or go a different route will be the main headline of the offseason. Though Abdul Carter and Travis Hunter are phenomenal prospects, you need a capable signal-caller if you want to compete for a Super Bowl in today’s NFL.

Cam Ward isn’t a perfect prospect, but he dazzled during his senior season at Miami and has the potential to develop into a franchise quarterback that changes the course of an organization.

TEN RECEIVES: Pick 47, Pick 78

AZ RECEIVES: Pick 35, Pick 167

With the number of holes on the roster, the Titans should look to move back in the second round and acquire an extra Day 2 pick to build out the roster.

Round 2, Pick 47: Aireontae Ersery, OT Minnesota

The Titans need help at offensive tackle, and Ersery would be an ideal pick in Round 2. The redshirt senior allowed just one sack and 12 quarterback pressures in 419 pass-blocking snaps in 2024 and also posted a 73.6 run-blocking grade.

Ersery played mostly left tackle in college, so he either has to learn how to play right tackle, or Tennessee has to move JC Latham back to right tackle, the position he excelled at during his collegiate career at Alabama.

Round 3, Pick 78: Tez Johnson, WR Oregon

Johnson had two straight productive seasons for Oregon in 2023 and 2024. The 22-year-old hauled in 86 receptions for 1,182 yards and ten touchdowns in 2023 and added ten more touchdowns and 898 yards on 83 catches in 2024.

Wide receiver is still a major need for the Titans, as Calvin Ridley and the occasional Nick Westbrook-Ikhine touchdown were the lone bright spots in the position group last season. Adding the speedy Johnson in Round 3 would be a fantastic choice by Chad Brinker and Mike Borgonzi.

Round 4, Pick 101: Barryn Sorrell, EDGE Texas

Sorrell was an impact player for Texas in 2024, posting six sacks and 49 quarterback pressures with a 13.3% pass rush win rate. The 22-year-old has a noticeable burst off the line and is an explosive pass rusher who was the best defensive lineman at the Senior Bowl.

The Titans need exciting young talent in the edge rusher room, and Sorrell has the potential to develop into a solid starter one day.

Round 4, Pick 118: Tory Horton, WR Colorado

Horton’s 2024 season was cut short due to a knee injury, but the dynamic playmaker had an extremely productive 2023 campaign for Colorado State and is an intriguing prospect in this year’s class.

Horton hauled in 96 catches for 1,136 yards and eight touchdowns in 2023 and also had a 1,000-yard campaign in 2022. The Nevada transfer is an explosive deep threat who also possesses excellent size at 6’3. Doubling up at wide receiver may not be a popular move, but adding Johnson and Horton to the offense, along with Cam Ward, would ignite some much-needed excitement and big play potential in the unit.

Round 5, Pick 141: Jonah Monheim, OL USC

Monheim is one of my favorite prospects in this class due to his five-position versatility. The 22-year-old played over 700 snaps at left and right tackle during his collegiate career at USC and also started at center in 2024. Monheim also has experience playing guard.

Adding the 6’5, 310-pound offensive lineman on Day 3 would be a savvy move by Brinker and Borgonzi, as Monheim is the ultimate chess piece and could fill in for Lloyd Cushenberry to start the season as the veteran continues to rehab an Achilles injury.
